Sierra Sauna Co. submits all required applications. Most outdoor sauna projects in Sacramento County require electrical permits; some require structural review. We manage the entire process.
Install
Our licensed crew handles site prep, pad work, custom framing or kit assembly, cedar finish, electrical, heater install, and interior details. Custom backyard builds typically complete in 6-10 weeks after permit approval. Most kit and pre-built installs finish in 1-3 weeks.
Your First Session
We train you on heater operation, bench etiquette, löyly technique, and maintenance. Your sauna - custom or professionally assembled - is ready for daily use from day one.

Sauna Installation Process FAQ
Yes. Permitting is included in every complete build. Applications are submitted, city or county building departments are coordinated, and inspections are scheduled on your behalf.
Most backyard builds complete in 6-10 weeks after permits are approved. Estate collections average 10-14 weeks. Full wellness retreats may take 16-24 weeks depending on scope.
